Yuks

Roger Clawson's column this week on sexually oriented businesses is drawing some pretty funny responses.

Funny? You have a really sick bunch of people in your town, David. You need to get rid of all the sex perverts before it's too late.

Wanda-
We didn't want to ask half the population of Billings to move out.

Rocky--We'll see how funny you think it is after you get the bill for all the cops and judges and probation officers you're going to need when the perverts start attacking women and children.

Wanda-
Judging by that comment, I'm sure you can post some statistics from other cities with strip clubs where soon after the arrival of these clubs, rapes and crimes against women went up.

You wouldn't just be assuming something that far-reaching, would you? Because that would be....um... stupid. Stupid beyond all belief.

I'm not a professional psychologist, but this diagnosis is too easy: "Wanda B." is a man, an uptight, repressed man who doesn't know quite what to do about his "urges," and as a result he projects his fears onto society. If we could just sic the cops on him.

My real name is Wally, and I’m making the transition from a man to a woman right now. So I still have a little rational thinking left, and I’m not totally consumed with worrying about my body yet. When I finish my transition I’ll be able to come up with the statistics you people want like 25% percent of all college girls are raped and things like that. For now I just wanted to say that I’m worried about being a woman and getting attacked by perverts coming out of sex clubs late at night. Maybe I’ll change my mind when I finally become Wanda. Maybe I’ll even get a job in a sex club and meet some of you someday.

It's doubtful you'll meet me there Wanda, since I don't frequent them. I have no problem with others going there since their life is not my business. I seriously doubt these clubs turn people into perverts when they go in though. I'm thinking they might have been a little sexually free before they enter. I have had occasion to stop in once or twice in my life. I didn't feel like raping someone when I left. Maybe that's just me though.

Years ago a Billings detective told me that they kept track of the fundamentalist churches and even had code naems for them, as that was where deviates were likely to hang out. Not making it up, not saying any more.

Interesting little story Mark T. The deviates probably like to "hang out" near the churches because that's were all the clean Christian women are.

Anonymous - I wouldn't want to attach my name to a post as inane as that either. A wise choice.
