It took me a minute to realize who the "Kim" in Billings, Mont., was. Then I realized I not only knew her, but the screamin'-deal house she found was the one I rented during my first year in Billings. If I'm not mistaken, it's for sale again.
Yeah, that's great for people from other places who sell a house in one of those other markets and then have capital to buy something here. What about those of us who actually draw our wages and buy our first homes here? I do/did both, and I could not have afforded a structurally sound home in Billings without the help of a second income.
I is regretful that "Kim" could not find enough cultural activities in Billings--a small city that only lacks its own Ballet Company. I honestly dont know of another City this size that has a world class Opera Company.
I went to school with Doug Nagel, if he isnt one of the biggest bargains in Billings Montana I dont know what would be!
