Natelson the teacher
Electric City Weblog has an in-depth review of the evaluation that found Rob Natelson qualified to teach constitutional law. It's quite well done and worth a read. Rob's own brief take on the situation ran here in The Outpost.

I just wish someone would have the guts or authority to conduct an investigation of Mr. Dennisin's qualifications and performance. They could start with the million dollar shortfall it the sorts department that seems to have been glossed over, the rebuttal of his obvious discrimination against Natelson and his granting of $5000 bonuses to two staffers who were earning $50,000 and $150,000 because he thought it was the thing to do. While, at the same time, justifying tuition raises to make up the errors. It's time someone confronted this arrogant clown and made him accountable! But who? A powerless legislature or a gutless Board of Regents? Horray for Rob and may he long be heard from.
Well, yes, it IS kinda funny, anon 2, that this electric city RIGHTWING WACKO LAWYER is anonymous! If the bozo feels THAT strongly about his opinions, let him attach a name to them! Not a stupid question at all, Eric. But if you haven't been involved in the big time enviro issues, you might not have heard of us. I'll try to give a brief description of just who we are later. But for now, I'll just say that the bad guys know EXACTLY who we are! And they hate us! We don't waste any time preaching to the choir. We take our message directly to the bad guys. So yeah, there are some people out there who have never heard of us. But if you're richard de voto, head of Canyon Resources, and guys like him, THEY KNOW! The bad guys know that if they cross a line in Montana, the war will be on! Say for example, regarding the proposed mine on the Blackfoot River, the Rangers simply said no WAY was that mine going in without a fight, either by legal means or otherwise. For you see, Eric, for some of us, we can't just sit by and watch evil prevail. And a heapleach mine on the Blackfoot would have been evil. We like to say the we are the final part of the permitting process, and that if we say no, no means no! Fortunately, it never came down to a shooting war. We Montanans passed I-137. And the legislature promptly tried to pass chucky swysgood's and debbie shea's bill that would have UNDONE I-137. Well, the Rangers had to go down there to Helena and set them morons straight! Chucky's bizarre, undemoncratic nonsensical bill never made it outta committee after the Rangers had a little chat with the committee! Guess that they didn't have the stomache for a war either! But that's part of who we are. We make groups like Earth First look moderate! More later.
This AIN'T the Soviet Union or Chile under Pinochet! We should ALL use our real names. PERIOD! We should not allow ourselves to be intimidated. Hell, this is Montana! We don't operate like we're living under a fascist dicktater here!.........even though each new day it seems closer and closer! So, chose to use your REAL name! Show the world that the opinions you hold are worth something! You'll get much more respect! (p.s. the GF Tribune used to put in everyone's address that wrote a letter to the editor. Anon, I respect ALL people, as long as they respect others. Sure, I bash sen. cornhole burns. But in my book, any moron who uses the words nigger and raghead with alacrity lose all claim to being treated respectfully. And can you even IMAGINE a United States senator using such terms? I can't. Therefore, Burns is the lowest form of life there is. He's an embarassment to our fine state. So, again, anon, if you treat others with respect, I too, show respect.

Respect? I have tried to discuss things with you on comment threads before, Larry, and you do nothing but spew ad hominom attacks.
And finally, by referring to the ECity Blogger as "another right-wing lawyer," you just show what a friggin' moron you are. The vast majority of attorneys in MT are left-wing.
Other than legal means can mean a WHOLE lot of things. Civil disobedience, vandalism, hacking, etc. It does NOT necessarily mean violence. I have NEVER threatened violence against an individual! The Rangers DID indeed go to Idaho during the Cove Mallard protests, and stop the violence agains peaceful protestors! Thugs were marching right up and beating the living sh!t outta protestors who were doing nothing and wouldn't fight back! That's not fair. So yeah, a couple of Rangers went over there and went to a meeting of the loggers and thugs, and laid down the law. They simply said that if any more protestors got beat up, they would have to start with the Rangers. Funny, but the beatings stopped. So you see, self-defense is NOT threatening. The corporate nazi thugs have ALWAYS used violence as a tool, not us! And your argument regarding Byrd is ridiculous. I'm sure that Byrd growing up in the south used the term nigger regularly. During that time period, it was acceptable behavior. BUT BURNS HAS DONE IT RECENTLY! And as a U.S. senator! There's ONLY a huge difference between the two! I was present in Great Falls when Burns refered to Arabs as ragheads. Hell, this was just shortly before the Iraq war! Byrd grew as a person. Byrd grew, and Burns grew stupider! If your posts are respectful, so are mine, as long as you're not racism or demeaning based on race or ethnicity. I can't TOLERATE prejudiced! It makes me sick! I've seen way too much of it even here in Montana against the Indian people.
