Wal-Mart in review

I went to see the screening of "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" and reviewed it here. Meanwhile, Wal-Mart appears to have its sights on Laurel.

It would be interesting to see a GIS map of Costco Stores and Sam's Clubs and the spatial relationship.

Always heard Sam's was coming to Billings when Costco beat them to it in 1992.

This is a repeat of my comment on this same subject earlier this week.
"Ok. Let's all get a ballbat and stand ouside our Wal Marts and smack those people coming out with baskets of stuff they just bought there. After all, the customers are the ones to blame for Wal Mart's success. Oh, forgot to mention that you can buy the ball bats at Wal Mart for $5.00 less than at Big Bear or Sheels!"

If it weren’t for Wal-Mart I’d be as broke as the losers who are always complaining about Wal-Mart!

There are rumors all over the place about where Walmart is going next. Maybe if Laurel gets one they will let the motor homes park there overnight and save Billings the trouble they have caused. bonnie
