Habeas corpse
Before they pass minimum wage legislation, before they appoint new committee chairmen, even before they unpack the knick-knacks for their rolltop desks, the newly elected Congress persons need to push through a bill to eliminate this sort of violation of fundamental human rights. It's shameful.

This is bad enough, but things are even worse.
That's an amazing example. The law is so Stalinist that it will remain a blot even after (we hope) it is removed.
Well Ed one can only hope that ANOTHER administration will make at least "some" difference as it is easy to point to Bush and ignore the rest of the people lined up in the asiles on Congress. We can hope can't we?
