War plans

The editor of The Outpost takes a futile stab at ending the war in Iraq. For some reason, the column appears twice on the web, prompting some commenters to observe that the editor's plan is no more cohesive than the president's. But that doesn't mean it is worse.

When I looked, it was posted at least three times. I'm a loyal reader, but I didn't read more than one.

Jumpin' JAYSUS! As a wordsmith and lover of words, I was wondering just WHAT the Presidunce was going to call his NEXT tactic in Iraq. For you see, with all the rightwing think tanks that have BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars to spend, they come up with some really well-thought out creative stuff, like "axis of evil", or "shock and awe", or even "surge". So what is the Presidunce's next plan? "Plan B". How freakin' dumb is that? Plan B. I guess that Bush realizes that he's completely unstoppable and unaccountable any more, so it doesn't really matter WHAT he calls anything. I think it's time for Plan I, IMPEACHMENT!

They say you know you're going crazy when you repeat yourself. And you're really going crazy when you repeat yourself. But then, you must be going crazy if you repeat yourself. However you might be going crazy...

P.S.: I double checked, and Mr. Erickson is correct. The magic number is 9 (a number that Mr. Crisp shares with Bobby Hull, Mike Modano, Gordie Hull and Maurice "The Rocket" Richard).
