Keep your hands out of my pocket

Here's why I think the government shouldn't be in the economic development business. Not only do they want to spend my money, they don't want me to know about it.

I agree. In addition, I'd like to know how much business the "Tradeport Authority" brings in as compared to what it costs we taxpayers. And, as a former Landlord, I'd like to know whey rental poroperty owners aren't provided "tax incentives?" After all, they provide housing for a third of all Montana residents yet get no "breaks" at all. Not to mention that they have to put up at least 10% more as a downpayment for a rental property. Many are small business people with but one to ten rentals yet, our State, County and City offer millions of dollars in "incentives" to multi million and billion dollar corporations whose profits go out of state. Go figure!
