Cheap shot
In this week's Editor's Notebook, I take cheap shots at Lee Enterprises and The Billings Gazette. I honestly don't know what comes over me.

David, Thanks for alerting us to Lee Enterprise's latest ambitions. Did you see the financing details in the Gazette this morning? $1.55 billion in debt. Wonder what kind of skeleton crew the Gazette will be required to have to make sure the Gazette meets plan and sends its share of cash to Davenport? A real big whale they swallowed.
